When to Visit?
Peak vs. Off-Peak Times
Peak Times:
The aquarium tends to be busiest during weekends, especially on Saturdays and Sundays, as well as on holidays and school breaks. These are the times when families, tourists, and school groups are most likely to visit. The late mornings and afternoons (10:30 AM - 3:00 PM) can be particularly crowded, so it’s best to plan accordingly.
Off-Peak Times:
For a quieter, more relaxed experience, visit on weekdays (especially Tuesday to Thursday) during the morning hours (when the aquarium first opens). The aquarium is generally less crowded during these times, allowing you to enjoy the exhibits at a leisurely pace. Off-peak seasons, like fall and winter, also tend to have fewer visitors, making these ideal times to visit.
Holiday Hours
Last Entry and Closing Time
While the aquarium closes at 9:00 PM every day, the last entry is typically one hour before closing (i.e., 8:00 PM). If you plan on visiting later in the day, be sure to arrive before 8:00 PM to fully enjoy the exhibits. If you're planning a late visit, consider special nighttime events or exhibitions, which may have later entry times.
