The short version

The aquarium sits on Pemberton Place, just north of Centennial Olympic Park. On MARTA, take the Blue or Green line to SEC District Station, or the Red or Gold line to Civic Center or Peachtree Center. All three are a 10 to 15 minute walk. There is a 1,600-space parking deck on Luckie Street NW.

Where to Eat Inside

Coastline Café The main option, on the upper level: burgers, pizza, chicken tenders, sustainable seafood, salads and vegetarian plates, plus beer and cocktails. Breakfast runs 9:30 to 11 AM.
Two smaller stands Seaside Delights opens Friday to Sunday, 11 AM to 7 PM. Coveside Concessions opens Tuesday and Friday to Sunday, same hours.
Bringing your own Outside food and drink are not allowed, apart from small snacks for children or anyone with a food allergy. Refillable bottles are encouraged.

Family restrooms: Two, on the second level rotunda.
Parking, captioning and ASL: Accessible spaces on Level 3; closed captioning for both animal presentations; ASL for specific experiences with advance notice.
Service animals: Guide dogs, service dogs and working dogs in training are welcome. Emotional support animals are not.

Yes. Get your ticket stamped before you walk out and you can return later the same day. Worth knowing if you want to eat somewhere in the Centennial Park district and come back.

Is there parking?

There is a 1,600-space aquarium parking deck on Luckie Street NW. It is cashless, and there is a 6 ft 8 in height limit at every entrance, so tall vehicles will not fit. Accessible spaces are on Level 3.

Can I take photos inside?

Cameras are fine for personal use. Flash is not allowed near some animals, and photography is off during the sea lion and dolphin presentations. Tripods, monopods, detachable lenses and other professional gear are not permitted.
